In Türkiye, the “Regulation on the Export and Import of Certain Hazardous Chemicals,” harmonized with the EU PIC Regulation and the Rotterdam Convention, was published in the Official Gazette No. 32087 dated 28 January 2023 by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. Under Article 8 of this Regulation, companies are required to report the quantities exported or imported to the Ministry within the first quarter of each year.

Accordingly, it is necessary to identify all substances, mixtures, or articles subject to export or import to countries party to the Rotterdam Convention. Export notifications must be submitted to the Ministry through the EÇBS system. As stipulated by the Regulation, an export notification must be sent at least 35 days prior to the first export, and annual declarations of quantities exported/imported must be completed by March 31st each year.

RGS has included notification services under the "Regulation on the Export and Import of Certain Hazardous Chemicals" in its portfolio. Since 2008, RGS has been transferring its extensive experience gained under EU REACH and SEA (Turkish CLP) and other Turkish regulations to its clients.
